Bonjour!

We are very excited to welcome Madam Lucille to our staff this year.

French is Madam Lucille's first language and she has been teaching in British Columbia for the past 20 years in the French immersion program.  She is trained and experienced as a Resource teacher in both French and English working with special needs children.  Madam Lucille also has extensive experience teaching French and English as a second language.

Madam Lucille will be teaching the Extended Day, Elementary and Senior Elementary students twice a week on Thursdays and Fridays.  Please do not hesitate to speak to Madam Lucille directly if you have any questions.

Class Schedule and Outline:

November 2007:

During the month of November, we will review Salutations, Greetings, Family and Clothing.

We will focus on expression of feelings and emotions through mimes, songs and role play.

In addition, we will learn the days of the week, the months of the year and Remembrance Day vocabulary.

December 2007:

This will be a very exciting month!  We will be learning seasonal vocabulary related to Christmas and New Year.

We will continue to review and reinforce the vocabulary acquired since September, with a special focus on weather, home, seasonal decorations and food.

We will continue to practice our short sentences using simple verbs and expressions.
