TOURS

Parents and children are requested to tour our school facilities, preferably before submitting an application. We are eager to show visitors our school and explain its unique educational approach. We also want to ensure that parents understand our philosophy and practices.

We suggest that a tour during the regular school day is a far better experience because it allows you to see our students in attendance and engaged in classroom activities. Tours are usually held on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.  Please call the office at (604) 461-1223 to book your tour.

APPLICATION FORMS AND FEES

An Application Form together with the Application fee of $50.00 is required before an interview with parents and children will be arranged. One Application Form is required for each child that you intend to enroll. Please be informed that an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Our primary goal in the recruitment and admissions process is to help each family determine whether our school is the perfect match with their family values and goals, and that the school setting will work best for their individual child.

In making admission decisions, we will weigh many factors, placing the greatest emphasis on whether the parents are deeply committed to sending their child to our school and whether their values and goals for their child’s education are a close match with those of our school.

It is not our intention to convince prospective parents that our school is right for them and for their child. Instead we will be truthful and transparent, and help them to grasp the true nature of the school and what it has to offer.

After careful consideration of the above factors, we will accept applications for admission in the following priority:

a. returning current students;
b. siblings of current students;
c. past students;
d. siblings of past students;
e. students with Montessori experience; and
f. students without Montessori experience.

An interview may be arranged after an application form and fee is received by the school office.

Registration Procedures and Fees

This is the second step in the enrolment process. After a letter of acceptance has been received by the family, an in-depth registration form is required to be completed and returned to the school with the following fees.

NEW STUDENT FEE (non-refundable)

Upon successful completion of the application process (which includes remittance of all applicable fees and acceptance of the student), the following non-refundable new student registration fee is payable immediately.

PLACEMENT_DEPOSIT (non-refundable and applicable against the year’s tuition fee)

This deposit ensures your child’s placement in our school. Your child’s place is secure once this payment is received.

THE ANNUAL SUPPLY COSTS INCLUDE FIELDTRIPS, SPECIAL EVENTS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES ETC.

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the 2011/2012 school year are as follows:

Preschool AM 8:30 - 11:30 am $4,450.00
Preschool AM 8:30 - 12:30 pm $4,950.00
Preschool PM 12:45 - 3:15 pm $4,250.00
Junior Extended Day Preschool $9,250.00
Extended Day Kindergarten $8,750.00
Grade 1 - Grade 3 $8,000.00
Grade 4 - Grade 7 $8,500.00

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Option One: Pay full tuition amount by July 1st, 2011. No administration fee.
Option Two: Pay 50% of tuition amount by July 1st, 2011 and the balance by November 1st, 2011 by direct deposit. A 3% administration fee per payment will apply.
Option Three: Pay in monthly installments, July 1st, 2011 through to March 1st, 2012 by direct deposit. A 5% administration fee per month will apply.

In order to process our tuition payments more efficiently, we accept tuition payments by direct deposit only. 

Please refer to the Tuition Fee Schedule that has been provided for you.  This schedule outlines the tuition fees payable based on the payment option that you choose and allows for a sibling discount if applicable.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

Children of Integrity recognizes the impact that the cost of a Montessori school education can have on families with multiple children. In an effort to assist families considering Children of Integrity, we have established a tuition discount for families with multiple siblings.

Second child enrolled 10% discount on full tuition
Third child enrolled 15% discount on full tuition
Fourth & subsequent child enrolled
20% discount on full tuition
